Hello my name is Joseph Southerland, I am a Grand Rapids Michigan based photographer. When it comes to photography by far my favorite segment would be editorial coverage. With that being said though I do not like to section myself off and only focus on one area of photography. I would like to say that I bring some of what I have learned covering events to all segments of my work whether it be capturing great candid shot whilst doing portraits or being able to listen to my client and interpret what they want while keeping the day light and fun, I strive to create the best images possible and will do whatever it takes to get a project finished on time and with the fastest content turn around possible.
